Tri Tip Nachos and Whiskey Gingers

Tonight is a busy night for us. I’m running the scoreboard for a volleyball game, and I have to get right home after that to take my oldest to karate class. I believe on the menu tonight is Aldi’s take and bake pizza, which is surprisingly good actually.

I only get ginger because the best whiskey/bourbon you see is normally Jack. I can drink Jack straight but prefer it with a mixer. Anything higher than makers mark goes straight normally. Except Buffalo Trace where one of the places i frequent puts it in their old fashions and its amazing.

Yeah, I can’t drink Jack straight - most of the places I end up at have Maker’s or Woodford at a minimum, which I’m good with on ice.

Last night was a Beyond Burger with Tofutti “cheese” on a pretzel bun, yukon gold potato wedges, and roasted brussels sprouts. Kinda like this Beyond Burger with sweet potato wedges and asparagus, but I didn’t take a pretty pic of last night’s dinner.
2 nights ago was “creamy” mushroom stroganoff where the sauce used stuff like
Better than Bouillon No Beef Base
, cashew butter and nutritional yeast to approximate the beefy/creamy traditional stroganoff.
